Say Yes To The Dress Mary Jane Watson

Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson are getting married.
I RSVP'd. Did you?

Before the wedding there are a couple of parties to attend.

Congratulations Peter! You hit the jackpot.
No doubting yourself Parker. Your marriage to MJ will be legendary.

Besides, you don't see Mary Jane moping at her party.
She seems to have other distractions.
Namely a red car, plane tickets and a Bruce. Bruce Wayne perhaps?

Uh-oh, is the marriage doomed to end before it even starts?

Luckily for us and years of continuity, Mary Jane
and Peter Parker,
both fashionably late of course,
become husband and wife!

Mary Jane's dress was designed by late fashion designer Willie Smith.

Peter and MJ being married makes perfect sense. She could be there for him in a way no one else could. He can share with her, tell her everything. Help him not feel so burdened with this "great power, great responsibility" guilt.

As much as I enjoyed the wedding of Peter and Mary Jane, the cover promised me a different one.
And thanks to a dream sequence, promise fulfilled. Check out the all-star guests too.
Look - Of course, it's Uncle Ben. Now you know it's a fantasy. If he's alive the story is either a dream, a hallucination, or an alternate reality.

What about a new origin spin where Aunt May is killed and Uncle Ben lives? That would bring some real changes to Peter and Spider-Man.

In the current Marvel Universe Peter and Mary Jane did not get married. A devil known as Mephisto offered, in exchange for their (love?) marriage, to revive a nearly dead Aunt May and make the universe forget Spider-Man's secret identity.

The offer was accepted.
